Fort Myers Beach Road Construction
Whether you are staying with us at The Outrigger or just plan to visit Fort Myers Beach please note that there is an extensive and long-term road and utility construction project on the island. It started on the North end near Time Square and it is currently approaching our area.
Two travel lanes are expected to remain open during the majority of the project; however, motorists may experience some day or nighttime one-lane traffic delays on Estero Boulevard. Flaggers will alternate traffic frequently. Crews are expected to work Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. Construction will be year-round
This project will continue in stages for an unspecified length of time. To avoid possible delays, we recommend that you travel to The Outrigger via Bonita Beach Road.
