Refund /Property Update:
First of all – Thank you for your patience. Our Board of Directors have been working diligently on the many moving parts of determining the future of the Outrigger Beach Resort and Charley’s Boathouse Grille. Just as so many of our neighbors are experiencing; the challenges of mitigating the damages caused by Hurricane Ian is exhaustive. Starting with the determination if rebuilding is an option. Obtaining permits, procuring materials, locating and hiring contractors is just a start. The schedule is not ours. However, we have come to the realization that this process will take us into 2024.
With this determination, we will be cancelling all reservations currently being held by the Outrigger Beach Resort.
The refund process is slow and tedious and we appreciate your patience.
We currently are refunding November reservations.
If you have not heard from us – please email the following information to:
- Guest Name
- Date of Arrival/Departure
- Confirmation #
- Mailing Address (all refunds will be paid by USD check)
- Phone number in case of additional questions
We will join this information along with our information. We will confirm it by email to you and request a verification that everything is correct. Once that verification has been received the check process will begin. This process takes normally 7 – 21 days depending on the number of requests.

Property Update 10/25/2022
We are reviewing the insurance information as well as the results from the engineers. We expect to have some answers by mid November. Until we know the status, the resort will be closed until further notice. We ask you not to give up on the Outrigger Beach Resort - we aren't!
Thank you, everyone, for the outpouring of concern and support you have shown us in the wake of Hurricane Ian. The amount of love that has been sent from around the world is nothing short of amazing and very much appreciated. So many of our Club Members have inquired how they can help our employees at this challenging time.
